1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or booking a vehicle with Gocarz, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Our service provides vehicle rentals specifically tailored for personal use and rideshare platforms like Uber and Lyft. You acknowledge that all reservations must be paid in full prior to vehicle pickup and that you must meet the minimum age requirement of 18 years to enter into this agreement.
2. Rental Usage and Prohibited Activities
Gocarz provides flexible rental options including daily rates of $40-$60 and weekly rates of $200-$400 with unlimited mileage. Users are granted a limited right to operate the vehicle for legal transportation and rideshare purposes, provided they adhere to all safety and operational guidelines.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited inside all Gocarz vehicles to maintain a clean environment for all users; violations will result in professional detailing fees.
- Unauthorized drivers are not permitted to operate the vehicle; the registered renter must be the primary operator at all times.
- Tampering with the contactless lockbox entry system or failing to return the key to the designated lockbox upon rental completion is strictly forbidden.
3. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
All vehicles are provided on an 'AS IS' basis. While Gocarz ensures all vehicles are insured through Allstate (with insurance papers located in the glovebox), we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the vehicle. Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law in the jurisdiction of the rental.
4. Governing Law and Modifications
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Gocarz operates. Any disputes arising from these terms or the use of our vehicles shall be resolved in the appropriate local courts.
Gocarz reserves the right to modify these terms at any time to reflect changes in our service or legal requirements. Users will be notified of significant changes via the effective date update.
